SAP Basis Lead Consultant (With "Archiving" Experience)

 

Experience Level – 7-10 years of relevant exp in these skills

 

Requirement

 

The Basis archiving support expert would provide archiving support activities for existing SAP installations and project work for new installations. Must be experienced at lest one or two archive tools. This includes:

 

·         Assist in Architecture sessions and provide thought leadership to define the target architecture in areas of Document Mgmt, Records Mgmt, Imaging & Archiving

·         Assist in the creation of Target Architecture deliverables including application communication diagram, position paper etc. Review requirements, identify capability areas and help define scope in line with estimates.

·         Must be an "expert" in SAP Data Archiving Practices and in Data & Information Lifecycle Management. Assist in planning and conducting demos to customers.

·         Ability to think analytically/critically when assessing current situations and business needs, and when identifying root causes.

·         Monitoring of ongoing data archiving batch schedules, support for inbound/outbound image archiving and monitoring of ongoing audit data archiving (DART).

·         Configuration of data archiving (ADK), problem analysis & solving, daily monitoring of report (print list) archiving, data retrieval for audits, litigation, divestments, etc. Possesses a functional understanding of SAP Work streams and Functions, key Business Processes (e.g order management and production execution, production data management, materials management, production tracking and reporting, quality testing and release), and an in-depth understanding of the SAP Archiving Technology.
