Job Description :
• 4 – 15 years of working experience in Banking and IT industry as a Business Analyst
• Minimum 2 years of working experience as a Business Analyst in the IT Industry is a must
• Knowledge about Banking practices in APAC / Europe / US
• Hands on experience in Requirement Gathering and consulting on Banking related opportunities
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle and testing practices
• System integration and IT project implementation experience in Banking industry
• Exposure to industry leading banking software products
• Exposure to IT systems/architecture and PL/SQL
• Experience in leading domain teams in Banking related projects
• Excellent client handling & customer interaction skills
• Very good communication & presentation skills
• Should be flexible to travel to client locations within and outside India and to other HCL locations within India and overseas.
Payments :
• End to end payment process life cycle ( from initiation to clearing & settlement)
• Different payment types – domestic payment, international payment, cross border payment, cross currency payment, SWIFT process and various other clearing systems
• Payments accounting, billing & correspondent bank related transactions & forex
• Exposure to international payments systems such as BACS, CHAPS, Faster Payments, ACH, Fedwire and regulations such as SEPA
Mortgages and other consumer lending :
• Experience in the end to end consumer lending lifecycle (loan origination, processing, underwriting, closing & funding and servicing)
• Good knowledge of consumer lending products (equity loans, personal loans, auto loans, mortgage etc.)
• Loan origination and/or servicing system customization, parameterization and implementation experience
Commercial Lending :
• Experience in end to end commercial lending lifecycle, including loan syndications and loan packaging and sale
• Experience in financial spreading analysis, covenant management and tracking/monitoring
• Knowledge of Commercial loan portfolio analysis
• Commercial Loan origination and/or servicing system customization, parameterization and implementation experience
Core Banking :
• Hands on experience in branch operations (includes teller operations, fund transfer & GL ), checking accounts, back office transaction processing for lending, risk, regulatory reporting, collection monitoring or any other niche/ generic trait.
• Understanding of core data base tables ( Interest table etc.) in a typical core banking system
• Core banking implementation experience
• Good knowledge of a core banking system (T24/Flexcube/Finnacle)
Channels :
Hands on experience in implementing software solutions in any/more than one of the following areas in Retail and/or Wholesale banking:
• ATM Switching
• Internet Banking/portals
• Mobile banking
• Kiosk banking applications
• Channel integration
• Email banking
• Call center solutions
• Banking CRM solutions
• Customer on-boarding process
Transaction Banking :
• Experience in various transaction banking products and services including cash management and forecasting, netting, pooling, trade finance and open account, treasury services, reporting services, reconciliation services
• Exposure to factoring, supply chain finance
