Designation : Business Analyst - Business Solutions (Permanent Position)
Role Summary
The Business Analyst serves as a manufacturing functional expert working with DL/PM and is responsible for developing and delivering business solutions in Oracle Applications. In this role he/she will work with process owners and translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications while maintaining functional peer relationships.
Essential Responsibilities
Effectively engage global teams/experts to create & propose process designs, standards & solutions in Oracle Applications
Develop detailed analysis, design and testing specifications ensuring technical compatibility and integration
Own complete module solutions end-to-end; prototyping, blueprinting,design, build, test, Documentation and post go-live support including interfaces & cross module integration
Ensures process rigor around documenting, testing, and implementation standards and adheres to standards at all times.
Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills and reasons through complex situations with strength in identifying and mitigating risks.
Continuously strengthen own domain expertise while teaching and mentoring others to develop their domain expertise
Critical evaluation of the custom objects to be developed in the Oracle Applications environment duly suggesting the best customization approach in a given situation
Produce documented reusable application processes, frameworks or architectures
Coordinates internal and external communication and issue resolution.
Drive IIC and COE objectives on Six Sigma, LEAN, Productivity, Say/Do, Quality, Reliability and Employee Engagement, within team.
Maximize standard Oracle ERP functionality to improve and simplify processes / customizations
Deliver high quality solutions and root cause analysis of critical business scenarios
Qualifications/Requirements
4+ years of experience in implementing/supporting Oracle Applications. with min 2+ years of
experience in implementing/supporting Oracle Applications. With min of 2 end-to-end implementations.
Strong Oracle Functional Expertise relating to Manufacturing Modules (PO,INV, Eng, BOM, WIP, PJM, Cost Management, and Quality with a good knowledge of end-to-end processes and
respective accounting in all the modules.
Strong knowledge and understanding of application configurations, setups, and integration of ERP Manufacturing modules.
Basic technical skills to query / follow data through the Oracle database
Ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time.
Good communication & interpersonal skills
Ability to motivate team members
Good lateral and influencing skills
Exposure to Procurement, ASCP & Inventory Optimization will be an added advantage
Desired Characteristics
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology (IT),Computer Science or Engineering
GB Certified
Proficiency in Six Sigma
