1. Must have extensive experience in RMAN / Data Pump / OEM Grid Control
2. Experience Minimum 5+ years in ORACLE production DBA with hands on experience version 9i/10g/RAC/11g
3. Must have worked on planning for production roll-out, release management plan
4. Must understand the database design concept, Data modeling and structural changes to databases
5. Design the development / QA instances for the implementation
6. Must have experience in performance tuning and load/compression testing
7. Should be able to draw the dependency hierarchy and flow of implementation plan
8. Must have experience of handling a team, work allocation, capacity distribution
9. Must have knowledge of system management tools e.g. - BMC Patrol, HP Openview, Alarmpoint, Tivoli, Remedy
10. Must have experience on writing instruction for daily DBA processes for team to follow
11. Must have experience in RMAN backups & restores / Data Guard
12. ITIL process knowledge. ITIL certification would be an added advantage Qualitative (not measurable but expect the individual to ramp up in these skills in 90 days)

13. Must be able to conduct the implementation meeting with other groups (AD, support group), draw project plans, understand business criticality, downtime requirements
14. Excellent people management skills – ability to challenge the team and get work output
15. Ability to understand application functioning & business requirements & translate the same to the team to ensure proper tuning of the database
16. Ability to think on the fly and troubleshoot incidents for root cause and remediation related to implementation
17. Should be able to interact with the client at all levels & provide a status update on ongoing basis of the activities being handled by the team
18. Should be able to participate in client calls & suggest technical & process improvements
19. These resources would represent the service delivery from offshore during India day time from 7:00 AM IST to 11:30 PM IST
