Job Description :
We are looking to recruit progressive and talented MySQL Database Administrators to work in global class projects.
The primary responsibility will include:
Installing Galera clusters in MySQL, Linux environment
Database monitoring and troubleshooting
Resolving database related issues
Laying best practices guidelines for set up of databases.
No of openings : 10
JOB LOCATION – Alwarpet, Chennai.
COMPENSATION and BENEFITS – Rs. 2.5L to 3.5L per annum – Rs. 2.5L to 3.5L per annum

Desired Profile :JOB PROFILE :
Excellent communication skills and experience in managing and administering MySQL Databases.
Should possess database administration skills and ability to handle MySQL clusters.
Tasks would include :
Setting up and managing clusters (most likely Galera)
Managing and administrating some tasks on Linux platforms.
Document and administer the set up and administration process
Manage 3-5 databases with MYSQL in a cluster
KEY SKILLS (Must Have):
Experience in MySQL database administration in Linux environment.
Experience in setting up and managing clusters of MySQL
Should be willing to work across databases like Oracle/Mysql etc
Good knowledge in troubleshooting issues pertaining to clusters
OTHER SKILLS (Nice to have):
2 – 5 yrs of real world experience handling clusters and VMs
Good analytical, development and communication skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
Ability to document procedures and interact with Global customers
