This role is for North position.Some of the products that will be handled are Low Voltage Power Protection (Circuit breakers, Switchgear, Fusegear, Controlgear, Final end distribution products, Power capacitors)
Designation - QA Lead Engineer
Essential Responsibilities
Familiarity with SDLC and test methodology including test-data management, bug reporting and resolution, test design, and test case development.
Familiarity with product design reviews.
Provide essential support to team to ensure the quality of the product.
Define Test Strategy and Test Plan for owned features
Independently assess quality and provide feedback, suggest process improvements/methodologies.
Work independently to perform end-to-end system testing of the product from developed test procedures.
Work closely with the development engineers on defects reporting, debugging and tracking to isolate software faults and ensure that all requirements are covered and met.
Having hands-on in QTP in executing the test cases/scripts.
Work on designing and developing automation frameworks.
Mentor team members in Product, Process and Technology
Qualifications/Requirements
2 to 4 years of experiences in Software Development as a Test Engineer
Minimum B.E/B.Tech/MCA degree holder - Preferably in Computer Science.
Should have strong experience in testing methods like GUI, Functional, Integration, Regression, and System Testing.
Hands-on expertise in QTP and Quality Center. Loadrunner experience is a plus.
Solid experience in Manual Testing.
Extensive experience in Black box testing.
Knowledge in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Experience in Test plan preparation, Test case design and execution, Bug reporting and Tracking.
Exposure on VB / ASP / JavaScript / VB Script / JAVA
Sound Database knowledge SQL/PLSQL/ Oracle / MS-SQL/DB2
