Openings for ETL Developer with UNIX , PL/SQL & Informatica with Mastek Limited - Bangalore

The role is a team member in a group primarily tasked with building data loaders leveraging the Informatica Power Center tool-set against a diverse set of databases and flat files.

Candidate will possess a background in the development of applications that deliver and distribute data within and between environments in both batch and real-time modes. Position requires the analytical skills needed to define a software vision and the technical skills required to see the vision to fruition, therefore candidate needs to demonstrate creative thinking and problem solving skills, as well as, possess strong communication skills.

The current environment is Informatica 8.x hosted in a UNIX environment (Sun Solaris).
Data loaders interact with a variety of DBMS systems, primarily Oracle and Sybase


Roles & Responsibilities:
o Full lifecycle (design development and testing) for application data loaders using Informatica, Shell, PERL and Autosys that automate the delivery and distribution of data within and between enterprises in batch or real-time modes.
o Understand and Use the Data movement framework for data movement for the customers.
o Suggest and improvise the Data movement / upcoming common frameworks.
o Performance tuning and troubleshooting Informatica related process.
Provide production support for nightly cycle processing related to the loaders developed

Experience
• 4 to 6 years in good organization.

Work experience:
• 4+ years experience in UNIX
• 3+ years Informatica development experience with at least one of the following target DBMS's: Sybase, Oracle.
