Role:
• Writing test cases against requirements and their review
• Defect management
• Prepare Test Plan, test Strategy, identify risks, prepare mitigation plan
• Set up and management of test environments
Skills Required:
• Strong in Testing concepts and methodologies.
• Experience in Java, J2ee, web services domains.
• Hands on experience in Test Automation tools: Selenium, QF-Test, QTP etc.
• Hands on experience in scripting e.g. Java scripting, VB scripting, shell scripting.
• Writing of test cases against requirements and review the same.
• Defect management - logging of defects and tracking status.
• Able to prepare Test Plan, test Strategy and identify the risks, prepare the mitigation plan
• Review of SDLC artifacts like requirements, code, test Plans, test cases, etc
• Hands on experience in Performance testing
• Hands on experience in setup and management of Test environments
• Mentor test team on technical (Automation tools) and non-technical (soft skills)
• Experience with Agile Life Cycle is an advantage.
• Experience with security testing is an advantage.
• Experience with Internationalization & Localization is an advantage.
• Exposure to open source testing tools, Project Management tools.
