Experienced Walk-In : Unix/Linux Admin @ Bangalore

Job Position : Team Lead/Tech Lead

Job Location : Bangalore, Chennai

Desired Education : Minimum 15 Years/16 Years of Regular (Academic) Education, 10[SSLC]+2+PUC+3 or 4 [Bachelors] / Arts Graduates are not eligible.

Desired Experience : 3 to 8 Years (Mandatory)

Job Description :
• Very good UNIX administration skills with a basic Windows administration skills
• TWC has Solaris, LINUX and AIX boxes on the UNIX front.
• Provide Off-hours support for Server and Patch Management
• Problem isolation, diagnosis and repair
• Provide patching administration at the direction of the TWC Patching Program Owner
• Provide support for Monitoring & Reporting
• Monitor server environment and inform or remediate in case of critical alerts
• Revise HPOV alerts for Windows/ UNIX servers and weed off alerts that are not useful and help to Tune HPOV tool to generate meaningful alerts
• Provide general reporting services, as directed, to the team
• Verify completion of scheduled patches
