Senior Consultant:-

Role & Responsibilities: 

A Senior Consultant within the TIBCO Professional Services Group is actively involved in a broad spectrum of activities including practice development, team participation, and relationship building. He or she possesses a strong service orientation and finds challenge in problem-solving complex situations. Customer success is a motivating goal. 
He or she is exceptionally knowledgeable about a specific set of TIBCO products and their supporting technologies and often functions as the primary technology contact, communicating frequently about schedules, deliverables, and risk. A Senior Consultant will take the technical leadership role on design or development projects and requires little or no supervision to act as technical lead on even difficult project engagements. 
A Senior Consultant defines project standards and ensures their use. He or she will perform complex event-driven infrastructure implementations and will identify and apply appropriate tools and techniques in support of system development life cycle. He or she will also take responsibility for identifying problems and recommend appropriate solutions for companies in a wide variety of circumstances. A Senior Consultant will assist in identifying project requirements, strategies and schedules in support of project/initiatives analysis and prioritisation. 
In partnership with the management team a Senior Consultant will play a role in the development of a regional practice to promote team morale and productivity. This may include participating in hiring process, team assignments, and cross training. A Senior Consultant will provide guidance and technical direction to team members and the rest of PSG as appropriate. All PSG employees are expected to share knowledge and mentor those less experienced through formal and informal channels. He or she will give clear direction or demonstration with reasons or rationale. The Senior Consultant will recognise accomplishments, provide feedback of other members of the team and may assist in the definition of work objectives and desired outcomes to the technical team. 


Desired Skills & Experience: 

• 7-9 Years of Proven IT Projects experience with Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Information Technology; Master's Degree in CS/IT or equivalent 
• Strong software development and design skills using integration technology 
• Certified in the installation, configuration and implementation of AE suite of products including BusinessWorks, InConcert as well as a solid working knowledge of the B2B solutions. For newly hired consultants this would be required within 60-90 days. 
• Demonstrated proficiency with Windows platform & all programming languages "built into" TIBCO products, including, but not limited to XPATH and XML 
• Demonstrated proficiency in JMS, EJB, SQL, JAVA, XML and HTML 
• Strong working knowledge of UNIX and NT operating systems 
• Analysis and design skills of moderate to complex scope 
• Familiarity with iterative development life-cycle and methodology 
• Front-end design and development 
• Familiarity with application servers, EJBs, JSP, Servlets, .NET and Web Services Concepts 
• Understanding of Network design and operation and performance tuning 
• Experience with Systems Management software 
• Solid background in system performance analysis and capacity planning 
• Background in vertical industries such as, Financial Services, Government, Logistics, Healthcare and/ or Hi-tech manufacturing 
• Familiarity with OS/390 and AS/400 
• Working knowledge of workflow tools 
• Familiarity with common data models such as OAG 
• Successful deployment of complex, high volume, event-driven TIBCO infrastructure solutions 
• Solid understanding of operational aspects of TIBCO solutions and the correct handling of operational issues or migration challenges 
• Working Knowledge of all programming languages built into TIBCO products, including XPATH, XML, SQL, JAVA, XML and HTML. 
• Well versed with Java Script, JSP, CSS, etc 
• Open to travel 
• Effective written and presentation skills 



Architect:- 


Architect, PSG 

Overview:

The TIBCO Architect's role is to establish and lead the TIBCO projects technically. Successfully lead large-scale integration efforts involving the entire TIBCO product suite giving direction to systems integration partners, client and PSG resources. These projects should include the full integration lifecycle from POC to production 


Responsibilities: 

• Successfully lead large-scale integration efforts involving the entire TIBCO product suite giving directions to systems integration partners, client and PSG resources. These projects should include the full integration lifecycle from POC to production 
• Takes ownership and responsibility to deliver a complete solution 
• Participates on requirements gathering, lead architecture discussions, complete documentation of the solution architecture and the demo scenarios to enable consultants to implement projects on TIBCO technology 
• Evangelize & train internal staff and potentially customers on these solutions – including supporting PoCs and pilot projects on-site / remotely 
• Working as an Architect on TIBCO SOA or MDM or BPM or BO (BE/GI) based application development projects 
• Analyzing requirements, providing architectural directions, guiding/mentoring and leading development team. 
• Delivering quality solution (technical) 
• Working on Client Proposals, Estimation etc. 

Qualifications: 

• Around 10-14 Years of Experience with SOA implementation and Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Information Technology; Master's Degree in CS/IT or equivalent 
• Expertise in any of following TIBCO Product Suits 
i. SOA – Business Works, EMS/RV or Business Connect 
ii. BPM – iProcess Product Suits 
iii. MDM – CIM 
iv. BO – Business Events, General Interface 

• Ability to develop trusted advisor relationships with client senior management 
• Proven experience as software developer with architectural experience or responsibilities. Should include at least 1 years of EAI development experience 
• Strong client facing skills - presentation, facilitation, written and verbal communications. 
• Ability to identify, define and build new business opportunities 
• Proficiency with all programming languages built into TIBCO products, including XPATH, XML, SQL, JAVA, XML and HTML. 
• Strong working knowledge on SOA or Messaging integration 
• Strong working knowledge of UNIX and NT operating systems. 
• Familiarity with application servers, EJBs, JSP and Servlets. 
• Familiarity with Web Services Concepts. Understanding of Network design, operation and performance tuning. 
• Open for Travel. Travel may be required internationally to participate in team projects and initiatives. 

Manager PSG Projects-India

TIBCO Project Manager - B2B, EAI Portal, ERP, B2C, e-commerce. Manage PSG projects and consultants, Primary Customer Interface, responsible for delivering state of the art solutions in the areas of application integration, Internet and e-commerce. Must have ability to work with customers to identify requirements, provide technical leadership, and must have technical foresight needed to design and develop cost effective solutions that meet functional and performance requirements. 
Responsibilities: 
• Provide end to end Project Management 
• Accountable for success of project/s 
• Account management – continuous business from existing customers 
• Participate in projects initiation 
• Provide key inputs/recommendations during performance review process 
• Setting right expectations and meeting them. Managing projects – Cost, schedules, effort management Project closures – Abstracts/Success story draft 
• Adhering to Quality processes and best practices during the project life cycle 
Qualifications: 
• BS / MS Computer Science or equivalent 
• Total 8-9 years of IT experience and minimum 5 years' experience as software project and project management. 
• Ability to manage technical projects, control cost, deliver on schedule and manage customer expectations 
• Excellent understanding of the software product management process 
• Must be willing to travel and enjoy working with customers. Ability to travel as needed upto 70 %. 
• Must have ability to scope work to be accomplished 
• Experience mapping business requirements to technology capabilities, experience with Object Oriented analysis (OOA), design (OOD) and project management (OOPM) 
• Strong working knowledge of UNIX and NT operating systems 
• Solid understanding of both C++ and Java 
• Understanding of Network design and operation and performance tuning 
• Strong working knowledge of RDBMS
