Desired Skills :
• Experience in working with Informatica PowerCenter/PowerExchange, Oracle PL/SQL (Stored Procedures, triggers, indexes), UNIX (shell scripts), DWH processes and concepts, performance tuning techniques, etc
• Very good understanding of Operational & Dimensional data model and providing recommendations, as appropriate
• Expert in devising ETL strategies
• Ability to take the requirements and convert into Design and disseminate the same to team
• Analyze requirements, perform impact analysis, design modules, build and unit test the code.
• Hands on experience in writing complex Database queries, Procedures, Functions
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills; including trouble shooting skills
• Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
• Perform Unit Testing, SIT and necessary coordination
• Resolve technical issues of team members
• Ability of handling multiple tracks/waves at a time
• Motivate team members & Inspire team to follow quality and processes
Primary Skills :
• (Must Have) Informatica 8.x, 9.x, UNIX Shell scripting
• Programming knowledge on Oracle 10g, 11g database (SQL, PL/SQL blocks, Functions/Procedures/Packages, etc)
Nice to Have Skills :
• Any experience or knowledge in SSIS
• Experience on OBIEE is a plus
• Any experience in DAC (Data Warehouse Administration Console) is a plus
Job Description :
• Experience in Software development and configuration using Informatica.
• Working in SDLC projects. Should have good SQL Skills Should be aware of UNIX Shell Scripting
• Should be able to do Self & Peer review
• Should be able to coordinate within the team
• Soft Skills: Good Oral & written communication skills.
• Banking experiences a must.
• Any prior experience in interacting with Clients directly will be added advantage.
