Required Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in writing C# .NET based applications
- Strong experience in WinForms and WPF programming (2+ yrs)
- Experience in WCF programming (1+ yrs)
- Experience in multi-threaded programming with C#
- Detail oriented with the ability to estimate task work effectively and accurately
- Proactive with a strong ability to self-manage and prioritize work effectively under pressure
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills - able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical personnel; able to communicate status of work and issues/risks clearly
- Ability to design low-medium complexity modules based on n-tier designs in a .NET environment (WinForms/WPF UI layer, WCF/web services middle tier(s), SQL server backend).
- Ability to collaborate with other team members (locally and globally) to define scope of work, dependencies, and to manage
dependencies effectively for on time delivery
- Strong learning ability – the candidate would need to ramp up quickly on the design/code/environment of existing products developed within EA
Desirable Skills:
- Experience working in product development teams
- Ability to test a WinForms/WPF application for performance and debug performance issues
- Knowledge of game pipeline/build systems would be a significant plus
Nice to have:
- Hands-on knowledge of build systems (nant/build automation systems such as CruiseControl etc.)
