Coded UI Automation Tester

·   A developer/SDET with 3 - 6 years of experience, with at least 2-3 years of hands – on  development experience.( C#, Asp.net, Configuring and Troubleshooting Client and Server application deployment).

·    Working knowledge on .net 3.5, 4.0 features – Windows workflows and Windows communication services is a must. (Level 2 on a scale of 1 - 4)

·   Ability to understand and design automation test framework

·   Minimum 1 year experience in automating test cases using VSTS 2010 Coded UI feature.

·   Conduct API testing by creating or using any existing test framework/tools.

·   Execute these automated tests and record results of the tests and log defects. Log and Track defects to closure by conduction regression testing using automated tests methods.

·   Sound knowledge of testing terminologies and testing processes.

·   Previous expertise in any MS test framework like EchoUI, MAUI, MITA, MOTIF, WTT, WebUI, KAF etc.

Secondary Skills:

·   ISTQB/CSTE  certified

·   Design test cases for and perform Negative testing like security penetration testing and performance testing.

Qualifications: Technical Degree (BE, B-Tech, MCA)

Performance Testing & Test Management

Primary skills:

·   A developer/SDET with 4 - 6 years of experience, with at least 1.5 years of hands – on  development experience.( C#, Asp.net, Configuring and Troubleshooting Client and Server application deployment)

·   At least 2+ years of experience in one or more of the following: performance testing, performance modeling or code profiling.

·   Experience in one or more of the following performance test tools: VSTS, Loadrunner, Silkperformer, Webload, JMeter, OpenSTA or Fiddler

·   Experience with any of the following diagnostics and profiling tools: Windbg, Process explorer, Optimizeit, JProfiler, Wily/Computer Associates Introscope, Mercury Diagnostics, Quest Performasure, Compuware Vantage or VSTS.

·   Performance test planning and integrated operational processes.

·   Performance Test Scripting and designing various workload modeling.

·   Performance Analysis and Reporting.

·   Proficient in Programming / Scripting concepts (Preferably in any Object oriented programming)

·   Good understanding of Database; SQL Fundamentals

·   Infrastructure Knowledge

·   SQL 2005 or 2008 experience

 

Secondary Skills:

·   Capacity estimating, modeling, or planning

·   Application and architecture code profiling.

·   Ability to debug and track down managed code memory leaks

·   Ability to distill volumes of data, analyze performance results, and diagnose performance problems.

·   Ability to clearly characterize system performance to stakeholders.

·   Working knowledge on .net 3.5, 4.0 features like Windows workflows and Windows communication services is a must. (Level 2 on a scale of 1 - 4)

·   Ability to understand and design test framework and automate test cases using c# technology or any other automation tools available like CodedUI, EchoUI, MAUI, MITA, MOTIF, WTT, WebUI, KAF etc.

·   Working experience in SQL Server 2005\2008 is must.

·   Conduct API testing by creating or using any existing test framework/tools.

·   Execute automated tests and record results of the tests and log defects. Log and Track defects to closure by conduction regression testing using automated tests methods.

·   Sound knowledge of testing terminologies and testing processes.

·   Design test cases for and perform Negative testing like security penetration testing and performance testing.

·   Should be efficient in the bug tracking - bug creation, bug assignment, bug triage, bug verification and bug closure.

·   Should excel in preparing the test reports for the executed test scenarios.

·   Should be able to perform build deployments for the applications.

·   Note: Preferable candidates who has worked on SharePoint / CRM application testing.
